Reverse osmosis treatment skid with pressure vessels, pumps and dosing systems

Services

Practical solutions, engineered to the brief

Water treatment, marine assets, heavy plant and supply — specified, mobilised and operated by one team.

01 — Water treatment

Mobile overwater reverse osmosis

A total 150 TPD skid-mounted reverse osmosis plant housed in a 20ft shipping container onboard a vessel, treating seawater of 45,000 ppm TDS to product water below 500 ppm — brought alongside the island that needs it.

Design basis
Plant product capacity150–155 m³/day
Product water flow6.25–6.45 m³/h
Feed capacity428 m³/day (17.8 m³/h)
Source of waterSea well water
System recovery35.5%
Operation24 hours continuous
Electrical supply400 V, 3 Ph, 50 Hz
Max. raw water temperature25 °C
Water characteristics
ParameterFeed waterRO product water
TDS (mg/l)45,000 maxBelow 500 ppm
pH7.0 – 7.5Corrected post-treatment

Design values are maximums; recovery varies with raw water quality. We recommend a final laboratory analysis of raw water prior to order confirmation, and design each plant against that report.

Process

From seawater to safe drinking water

Every stage is selected for overall plant performance and long membrane life, not lowest first cost.

Stage 01

Filter feed pump

Raw water is pressurised to 3–4 bar to overcome pre-treatment and pipe losses. Lowara ESHE, SS316 wetted parts, European origin.

Stage 02

Micron bag filters

Continuous-flow 10µ and 5µ bag filtration removes micro particles ahead of the RO feed, protecting the membranes.

Stage 03

Antiscalant dosing

Dosed upstream of the high-pressure pump to inhibit CaCO₃, sulphate and iron fouling. Stroke-adjustable dosing pump, 0–2.5 LPH.

Stage 04

Reverse osmosis

Danfoss APP high-pressure pumps drive feed across Hydranautics 8" polyamide membranes in 1000 psi FRP vessels, rejecting 90–95% of dissolved salts.

Stage 05

pH correction

Sodium hydroxide is injected into the permeate to control the aggressiveness of the water towards metal.

Stage 06

Chlorination

Sodium or calcium hypochlorite disinfects the product water, with chemical storage sized for 24 hours of continuous operation.

Stage 07

CIP system

An 8 m³/h clean-in-place circuit with 200 USG tank and 5µ jumbo filter keeps membrane performance where it should be.

Stage 08

Transfer & delivery

A 27 m³/h product transfer pump discharges treated water ashore to the receiving network or storage.

Instrumentation & control

Measured, logged, protected

The plant is supplied pre-wired and pre-piped on an SS structural skid, ready to operate.

  • MonitoringRotameter flow metering on product and reject lines; Jumo conductivity and pH meters on final product.
  • ProtectionWika pressure transmitters and gauges on low and high pressure circuits; FIES level switches on high and low level.
  • Control panel2 mm GRP IP65 enclosure, relay logic, suited to a marine environment.
  • PipinguPVC low-pressure interconnections; SS 316L high-pressure piping, fittings and valves throughout.

02 — Marine

Vessel rental & leasing

Tailored vessel rental and leasing services to meet diverse logistics requirements — supporting cargo transportation, offshore operations and marine activities.

Our versatile fleet is equipped with modern amenities and managed by experienced crews, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable maritime operations. Charters run from single voyages to multi-year leases, with vessels surveyed and certified under Maldives Transport Authority requirements.

  • Cargo transportationInter-atoll movement of general cargo, construction materials and project consignments.
  • Offshore supportCrew transfer, equipment positioning and standby support for marine works.
  • Long-term leasingDedicated vessels on fixed terms — including vessels fitted out for specialist duty such as onboard water treatment.

03 — Plant

Heavy equipment rental

Our rental portfolio includes a fleet of heavy vehicles, providing solutions for construction, industrial projects and other operational demands.

With flexible rental terms and custom packages, we address varied project scopes, seasonal fluctuations and unique requirements in the maritime and industrial sectors — enabling seamless execution of your endeavours. Equipment can be barged to site and supported by our own marine assets, so mobilisation stays under one contract.

  • Earthworks & reclamationTracked excavators and support plant for shoreline, harbour and reclamation works.
  • Construction supportMachinery placed on island for the duration of a build, with operators where required.
  • Flexible termsDaily, monthly and project-length hire, structured around seasonal peaks and phased programmes.

04 — Supply

Supply & procurement

Sourcing and delivering the materials a project runs on, and shipping them to the island on our own vessels.

Island projects stall on the small things — a filter cartridge, a drum of chemical, a pallet of fittings that missed the boat. Because we operate our own marine assets, supply and transport sit in the same contract: we consolidate a project's requirements into scheduled runs rather than leaving each order to find its own way out of Malé.

  • Bulk potable waterTreated water produced by our overwater RO plant and discharged directly ashore to island storage or the receiving network.
  • Treatment chemicals & consumablesAntiscalant, sodium hydroxide and hypochlorite for dosing systems, plus bag filters, cartridges and RO membranes.
  • Marine & industrial sparesPumps, filters, lubricants and generator parts for plant we supply and for equipment already on site.
  • Project materialsConstruction materials, pipework, fittings and general cargo, consolidated and shipped inter-atoll.

05 — Integrated

Project logistics

When a project needs water, vessels, plant and materials at the same time, we package them into one mobilisation, one schedule and one line of accountability.

Plan

Scoping & design

We work from your site data — water analysis, island access, project phasing — and return a specification with equipment makes, capacities and assumptions stated in full.

Mobilise

Delivery to site

Assets are loaded, transported and commissioned by our own crews, including containerised plant secured for sea passage.

Operate

Running & maintenance

Continuous operation with planned maintenance, consumables management and reporting for the length of the contract.
